First shoot in three weeks

This lovely sunset was enhanced by moisture in the air from recent rain showers.

Above:  I happen to love the little “red eye,” a random accident of refraction. 

I think I see an invading army of ghostly flying saucers.

Can you see the hawk?  I discovered it (near the center) only after getting back to my computer.

For me the best moments are right when and soon after the sun goes down.

    Fabulous photos, John. Just beautiful. The hawk in flight was an added bonus.
    Viewing the sunsets just melted away any of the “hectic-ness” remaining from the 11 hour day at work. Had I meditated earlier today, that would have shifted, for sure. Now back to my regular regimen of early morning meditation.
