Song of the Seasons

Dear reader,

This poem first marched into my head more than fifteen years ago.  It has evolved over the years, and it has helped me overcome many difficulties.

The words of this poem might seem idealistic; but in my experience, idealism wed to patience, hard work and good will produces miracles.

May the light of your soul guide you always.

Warm as any summer sun,

love the people,

every one.

Love them as they rise and fall.

Love them all.

Love them all.

Free as any falling leaf,

love this world in all its grief.

Smile upon this passing show.

Let it go, let it go.

Boundless as the winter snow,

love the light that doesn’t show.

In the heart of all that is,

endless bliss, endless bliss.

Gentle as an April rain,

love the pleasure,

love the pain.

Love it when you rise and fall.

Love it all.

Love it all.

All the seasons spin around us.

Miracles of growth astound us.

Rain, sun, leaves, snow –

love it all

and let it go.

I hope people will get from that poem & blog the feeling from which it came: a nice heart-buzz.
