Walk in the Santa Monica Mountains

Last Saturday I took several students for a walk in the Santa Monica Mountains, starting at the southern end of Reseda Boulevard,  hiking up to the unpaved part of Mulholland Drive and from there up some steep hills until we found these views.

The photos on this page are the result of a process called “stitching,” whereby you take a bunch of shots (usually panoramic) and hope they go together in the final mix, which is done with a photo processing program.

Same view, different angle & elevation.
